Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Bristol, VA is seeking a Warehouse and Delivery Team Member to help ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment and smooth store operations. You will select trucks for routes, maintain dispatch logs, coordinate shipments, and assist with stocking, inventory, and customer service.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required; Spanish is a plus. Experience in warehouse settings and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience or similar discipline.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to learn the delivery area to coordinate drivers’ deliveries.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Reliable transportation to get to work; company vehicles are provided for deliveries.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Select specific trucks for each route based on volume and equipment availability.
• Maintain daily dispatch log containing start times, driver, route number, and equipment needed.
• Maintain database of customer locations, time windows and other information.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of merchandise.
