Job summary

Watco Transloading is seeking a Hub Associate in Capitol Heights, MD. The role handles unloading and sorting freight in a cross-dock facility, receiving inbound shipments, classifying freight, and palletizing items. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 4am to 11am, at $20 per hour.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, can operate a scanner, and maintain strong organizational and time-management skills. Onsite work environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass required safety trainings and certifications as needed.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and sorting freight at the cross-dock facility.
• Receive inbound freight from linehaul trucks and classify palletized freight.
• Scan packages to confirm receipt and move them to the assigned scan location.
• Inspect packaging for defects and damages; report issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse following safety guidelines.

Job Summary

The The Hub Associate is responsible for unloading and sorting in our cross-dock facility. This includes receiving inbound freight from linehaul trucks, classifying freight, and palletizing freight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scan packages to confirm receipt
• Move packages from pallets to assigned scan location
• Inspect packaging for defects and damages
• Follow company safety guidelines
• Keep warehouse clean and organized

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to pass and/or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position and location.
