Job summary

Marek Sawing & Drilling is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Concrete Sawing & Drilling Helper/Trainees. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and mentorship, with advancement opportunities based on performance.

You will assist experienced Operators with concrete cutting, core drilling, wall and wire saw tasks on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Must be safety-focused, dependable, and able to travel locally as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel locally.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork.
• Comfortable working outdoors, indoors, or in confined environments.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete sawing, core drilling, demolition, and removal activities on active job sites.
• Support layout, measuring, and precision cutting operations.
• Assist with demolition and structural modification projects.
• Work safely in commercial, industrial, medical, and roadway environments.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, Silica Safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Learn the safe operation of specialized equipment, including flat saws, wall saws, core drills, hand and ring saws, wire saws, mini excavators, skid steers, and robotic demolition equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials.

Position Overview

Marek Sawing & Drilling is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Concrete Sawing & Drilling Helper/Trainees. This entry‑level role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the construction industry through hands‑on training and mentorship. Helper/Trainees assist experienced Operators with concrete cutting, core drilling, wall sawing, wire sawing, and GPR scanning on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects while developing the skills needed to advance into an Operator role. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete sawing, core drilling, demolition, and removal activities on active job sites
