Speedy Concrete Cutting, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Concrete Sawing & Drilling Helper/Trainees.

This entry-level role provides hands-on training and mentorship while you learn concrete cutting, core drilling, wall and ring saws, and GPR scanning on commercial and industrial projects. You'll work safely on active sites, gain practical skills, and have opportunities to advance into an Operator role based on performance, reliability, and skill development.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn across construction tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork on busy job sites.
• Ability to follow safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete sawing, core drilling, demolition, and removal activities on active job sites
• Support layout, measuring, and precision cutting operations
• Assist with demolition and structural modification projects
• Work safely in commercial, industrial, medical, and roadway environments
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, Silica Safety standards, and OSHA regulations
• Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Learn the safe operation of specialized equipment (flat saws, wall saws, core drills, hand saws, wire saws, mini excavators, skid steers, robotic demolition)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials

Position Overview

Speedy Concrete Cutting, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Concrete Sawing & Drilling Helper/Trainees. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the construction industry through hands-on training and mentorship. Helper/Trainees assist experienced Operators with concrete cutting, core drilling, wall sawing, wire sawing, and GPR scanning on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects while developing the skills needed to advance into an Operator role. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete sawing, core drilling, demolition, and removal activities on active job sites
• Support layout, measuring, and precision cutting operations
• Assist with demolition and structural modification projects
• Work safely in commercial, industrial, medical, and roadway environments

Qualifications

• Construction, concrete, or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn a skilled trade
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel locally
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork
• Comfortable working outdoor, indoors, or confined environments
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
