Job summary
Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Scientist for an onsite role in West Point, PA. This 12+ month contract involves executing high throughput process development experiments with BSL-1/BSL-2 agents, operating automation equipment (Tecan/Hamilton), and performing analytical tests to support GMP-compliant workflows.

Qualifications
- B.S. in Biology, Cell Biology, Bio/chemical Engineering, or related science.
- One year of general lab experience.
- Aseptic and cell culture techniques for at least six months.
- Experience with cell-based imaging or flow cytometry, and biochemical analyses.
Responsibilities
- Execute high throughput process development (HTPD) experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 agents.
- Operate and maintain laboratory automation equipment (Tecan, Hamilton).
- Perform analytical testing and develop new assays as needed.
- Prepare reagents and culture media; maintain GMP records.
- Analyze, track, and report data to client staff; ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team and client staff.
