Job summary

Munson Healthcare, northern Michigan’s largest healthcare system, seeks a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician (HTM) to support its hospital network. The role involves repair, calibration, and preventative maintenance of medical equipment across facilities in the Gaylord area.

You’ll work with CMMS data reporting and maintenance management, under minimal supervision, and contribute to high-quality patient care. A CBET certification or pending certification within a year is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or military training in biomedical equipment service required.
• Minimum 4 years of healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration experience.
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification required or obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in CMMS data reporting and equipment management.

Education

Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or military trained in biomedical equipment service

A Day in the Life

• A high skilled Biomed with 4 years’ experience and CBET or CHTM certification. Under minimal supervision, HTM Tech III’s will provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. BMET III’s are expected to be proficient in CMMS equipment data reporting and management.

Additional Information
