Hartford/Sumner Elementary School in Sumner, ME, is seeking a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our education team for the 2025-2026 school year.

We are looking for professionals who love kids!

Our school is located 20-30 minutes from Lewiston/Auburn and 45-60 minutes from Portland. We offer great outdoor recreation and a community of children eager to learn and grow.

We will consider Emergency and Conditional Certifications if you have not yet earned your full Professional Certification.

Benefits for Teachers

Newly hired teachers who are professionally certified and choose not to take courses during their first year may qualify for up to $2,500 towards existing student loans.
