Job summary

ISS Facility Services is seeking a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) professional to join the Account, reporting to a Senior HSEQ Manager and collaborating with internal and client stakeholders.

You will coach operational teams, deploy the mobilisation plan, identify risks, support campaigns, and interact with authorities. The role is hybrid with home-based work and travel to the North East.

Qualifications

• Clear, strong HSEQ experience within Built Environment.
• Ideally covering higher risk activities such as Engineering.
• Nebosh General minimum.

Responsibilities

• Support, coach and mentor operational teams on HSEQ matters.
• Facilitate deployment of HSEQ mobilisation plan.
• Identify significant risk areas within mobilisation plan.
• Drive Global and UK&I campaigns and initiatives including Safe Choice, Global HSE programmes and Wellbeing.
• Interact with Local Authorities, HSE and Environment Agency.
• Collaborate with other HSEQ team members to execute role tasks.
• Use Insight reporting to identify risks and advise mitigation.

Job description

Here, working with other HSEQ professionals, and reporting into a Senior HSEQ Manager you will play a driving part across the Account, working with internal and client stakeholders

Actions will include:

• Support, coach and mentor the operational teams on HSEQ matters and provide competent HSEQ advice
• Facilitate the successful deployment of HSEQ mobilisation plan
• Understand and identify where the significant risk areas are within the mobilisation plan
• Live and breath Global and UK&I campaigns and initiatives including Safe Choice, Global HSE programmes and Wellbeing
• Interact with other third parties such as Local Authorities, HSE and Environment Agency
• Work closely and flexibly with other HSEQ team members to facilitate successUnderstand which tasks are the responsibility of other stakeholders within employer and remain laser focussed on executing the tasks which is within the role
• Understand how to use business reporting tools such as Insight to identify areas of risk and provide advice and guidance on how to address issues

Clear, strong HSEQ experience within the Built Environment, ideally covering higher risk activities such as Engineering, and Nebosh General minimum
