Job summary

KLX Energy Services LLC in Cheyenne, WY is seeking an experienced HSE Training Coordinator to oversee the delivery and coordination of safety training across the Rockies region. You will administer new hire orientation, refresher and remedial training, collaborate with Safety, Operations and HR, and maintain curriculum and records.

Travel to KLX field locations is required to support HSE personnel. This role emphasizes effectiveness, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: 3-5 years or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Industry specific continuing education required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can follow written curriculum.
• Ability to read written safety instructions, ability to communicate in front of groups. Bi-lingual preferred.
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to define and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate the new hire orientation HSE training including, but not limited to, classroom, hands-on, CBT.
• Choosing appropriate training methods per case (online, in-person, virtual, mentoring/coaching, professional development, on the job training, etc).
• Marketing available training opportunities to employees and providing necessary information.
• Training subject matter experts on delivery methods and assess instructional effectiveness to determine impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
• Communicate with supervisors to identify training needs and mapping out development plans.
• Should be familiar with different delivery methods and educational materials.
• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records as requested from Training Manager.
• Maintain in-house training facilities and required equipment.
• Travel to KLX Energy Services field locations to assist HSE personnel as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
