Job summary

Twin Brothers Marine, LLC in a production facility seeks an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist. Under the Director of Safety/HR, you will lead HSE programs, conduct hazard identifications, and coordinate emergency responses with Fire/EMS/Police.

Requires HS diploma; BS in OH&S preferred; EMT training preferred. Two years in OH&S with environmental exposure; strong OSHA knowledge; ability to train groups; Microsoft Office familiarity.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; BS OH&S preferred but not required.
• EMT training preferred.
• 2 yrs experience in occupational health and safety with environmental exposure.

Responsibilities

• Work as instructed by the Director of Safety/HR.
• Evaluate potential injuries from accidents and coordinate with emergency services (Fire, EMS, Police).
• Assist in implementing Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs to reduce injuries, illnesses, and losses.
• Assist in investigations of near misses and incidents.
• Host daily safety meetings and conduct site visits.
• Ensure facility compliance with permits and plans.
• Compile HSE performance reports for leadership and projects.
• Ensure all HSE training and medical testing is completed for employees and contractors.
