Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor to oversee developing and implementing HSE programs for clients. The role sits within the Environment Health and Safety function, safeguarding employees and communities.

The successful candidate will manage HSE programs, evaluate and update playbooks, oversee incident performance, and lead a team to meet objectives while reducing costs and improving service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of job-related experience.
• In-depth understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function.
• Ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
• Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and changes.
• Support the process for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the HSE subject matter expert.
• Oversee plans, playbooks, and procedures to ensure they are current and effectively implemented.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing the quality of services; respond to concerns.
• Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members.
• Resolve complex problems and identify approaches to achieve team objectives.
• May establish new techniques to ensure the team meets its objectives.
• Lead by example and guide team through application of basic practices; build consensus.
