Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead safety on complex projects across multiple states. You will implement HSE plans, deliver targeted trainings, and ensure compliance with OH&S standards while coordinating with site leadership and contractors.

Travel to project sites is required as assignments rotate across states. The role offers visibility into a growing, employee-owned organization with strong career development and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• 5 years' experience in a health and safety role in a related industry; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of OH&S and environmental legislation and HSE processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop, influence, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

• Implements and supports project HSE plans, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices.
• Develops and delivers project-specific HSE training.
• Implements district HSE communication strategies on projects.
• Identifies hazards and advises on corrective actions.
• Leads on-site HSE inspections and audits safety plans.
• Develops and maintains environmental and emergency response plans.
• Monitors trade contractor HSE performance and progress.
• Participates in on-site investigations and corrective actions.
• Coaches and mentors HSE Coordinators and employees.

Travel is required as this position may be located at one of our projects with locations including: Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, Washington and other states.

Per-diem is available to help cover temporary living expenses for candidates who the eligibility criteria. Depending on project availability, once your time on this project ends, you may be transferred to the next project in a different state.

• Solid understanding of applicable OH&S and environmental legislation and HSE processes.
• Conflict resolution skills, with the ability to problem-solve.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop, influence, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Strong working knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
