Job summary

R.B. Hinkle, a Primoris company, is hiring an HSE Specialist for its Sterling, VA team. The role provides frontline HSE support across the assigned region and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

You will lead safety inspections, support investigations, and work with operations leadership to improve HSE performance. Travel up to 50% may be required, and bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industry-relevant HSE experience preferred.
• Construction, Electrical, or Utility background.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing strategy.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety activities with Lead HSE Coordinator and HSE Manager.
• Assist investigations and analyze incident reports.
• Has authority to correct hazards.
• Has stop work authority when unsafe conditions exist.
• Assist with supervisory safety inspections, governmental safety standards, and codes.
• Performs daily project site inspections.
