Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging Inc. is seeking an HSE Specialist I to promote Safety First and lead safety meetings across the facility and field operations.

You will conduct field audits, verify rigging and lifting techniques, and ensure compliance with State and Federal safety laws while maintaining customer focus and adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety operations.
• BS in Health and Safety related discipline preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Safety policies with the Customer and TNT Crane employee(s) before and during the job task.
• Performs field audits at customer sites for proper crane setup and equipment.
• Verifies proper rigging and lifting techniques are being utilized.
• Audits TNT Crane Operator, Rigger, and Signal Person for company issued credentials.
• Audits the Quarterly log (slings, shackles, and chains) for each crane.
• Audits the TNT Crane Driver of the semi-truck for proper inspection logs and log books.
• Monitors/inspects crane, semi-truck, pick-up trucks, and/or trailers for tire wear and vehicle inspection reports.
• Performs crane operator and rigging assessments and records information for branch reports.
• Performs driving assessments on TNT Crane employees.
