Job summary

Flowserve Baton Rouge is seeking an HSE Site Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental operations across three co-located QRC facilities. You will own HSE programs, translate policy into actionable work instructions, and drive safety improvements on the shop floor with approximately 150 staff.

The role emphasizes active floor presence, strong collaboration with operations, and responsible incident investigations.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of progressive HSE coordination, supervision, or site management in industrial manufacturing, machining, heavy equipment, or service shop environments.
• Collaborative mindset with active floor presence and practical problem-solving with front-line personnel.
• Solid understanding of OSHA, EPA, and local compliance standards and translating frameworks into site procedures.
• Self-motivated with ability to independently manage projects from risk identification to vendor implementation.
• BS degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate HSE policies into clear site-specific work instructions across Pumps, Valves, and Seals facilities.
• Maintain campus audit readiness and regulatory documentation (OSHA/EPA).
• Conduct incident root-cause investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Partner on the site leadership team to help plant leads hit safety and operational targets.

In this role, you will take full ownership of HSE programs across three co-located Quick Response Centers (QRCs)—Pumps, Valves, and Seals—supporting a team of approximately 150 manufacturing and support personnel.We are seeking a collaborative, self-motivated safety leader who believes strong safety culture is built through active shop-floor presence and genuine partnership with front-line teams. You will receive corporate policy frameworks and audit schedules, then work directly with site operations to establish practical work instructions, identify operational improvements, and coordinate solutions from start to finish.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESPosition Culture: We are seeking a collaborative, self-motivated safety leader who believes strong safety culture is built through active shop-floor presence and genuine partnership with front-line teams.
