Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for the Water Division in Dallas, TX.

You will develop and drive site-specific EHS plans, coordinate with project teams and subcontractors, and lead audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting a culture of safety. You will oversee accident investigations, industrial hygiene guidelines, and drug-free workplace initiatives, while delivering training and weekly EHS updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction EHS field.
• Excellent communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards as well as hazard recognition and injury management skills.
• Some travel required.
• Required to stand, sit, walk, and/or climb stairs or ladders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective site-specific EHS plan, adhering to corporate, divisional, and regional EHS programs.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and coordinate project EHS programs with subcontractors.
• Conduct quarterly EHS audits and inspect site for regulatory compliance and company policies.
• Conduct accident investigations and report incidents for PM review.
• Assist with Industrial Hygiene protocols and Environmental Monitoring.
• Manage Drug-Free Workplace Policy and testing.
• Provide EHS training and coordinate new hire EHS orientation.
• Administer SPAT process on projects and issue weekly EHS updates.
