MAHLE is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional in Murfreesboro, TN to lead site safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance. You will develop and manage environmental programs, train staff, and support cost containment while maintaining OSHA and ISO standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3–5 years manufacturing experience and a proactive approach to safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety or related discipline.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO certifications and other compliance requirements.
• Certification is desirable but not required.

Responsabilités

• Investigate process failures that lead to workplace accidents and environmental impacts.
• Develop and implement environmental compliance programs (hazardous waste, air permits, storm water, wastewater, emergency response) including maintaining ISO 14001 and certifications.
• Maintain logs and documentation for permits and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain Workers’ Compensation program through filing of reports and return-to-work programs.
• Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety training programs.
• Participate in product and process reviews to minimize safety and occupational health hazards.
• Manage OSHA standards programs including hearing conservation, PPE, Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and related programs.
• Analyze and report progress toward environmental goals and company reporting requirements.
