The role emphasizes mentorship, assessment, and collaboration with fellow teachers to enhance inmate outcomes and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an education related field is required.
• Colorado Initial/Professional Teacher License or ABE authorization needed.
• Out-of-state applicants must have the appropriate educator license and upload a copy with application.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor inmate students individually or in groups to promote academic performance.
• Determine educational needs and set short and long-term goals.
• Develop and implement competency-based teaching aids and instructional materials.
