Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives across Hi-Pro Feeds USA locations. You will partner with operations and site leadership to foster a proactive safety culture and deliver practical solutions across manufacturing sites.

The role focuses on risk assessment, training delivery, audits, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance. Occasional travel to Friona, Comanche, Clovis, and Cheyenne is expected.

Qualifications

• College diploma or bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related field.
• Experience supporting HSE programs in manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, feed milling, or production environments.
• Strong understanding of safety management principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze information and develop practical solutions.
• Willingness to travel regularly (15–25%) to multiple Hi-Pro Feeds USA locations.
• Strong computer proficiency including Outlook, Word, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Experience delivering safety training and engaging employees at all levels.

• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and site leadership to promote a proactive safety culture and practical safety solutions.
• Own continuous improvement by supporting HSE management systems, conducting risk assessments, leading inspections and audits, coordinating employee training, supporting incident investigations, monitoring regulatory compliance, and tracking HSE performance metrics.
• Help every employee return home safely each day.

Requirements

• Experience supporting HSE programs within manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, feed milling, or production environments


• Strong understanding of safety management principles and regulatory compliance


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to analyze information and develop practical solutions


• Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 15–25%) to support all Hi-Pro Feeds USA locations including Friona, Comanche, Clovis, and Cheyenne


• Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and reporting tools


• Experience delivering safety training and engaging employees at all levels of the organization
