Job summary

  • Master’s degree in Safety, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • JD/PhD in Safety, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate accidents, conduct audits, and recommend safety improvements.
  • Assist with hazard identification, risk assessments, and control implementation.
  • Perform periodic HSE inspections and prepare reports with corrective actions.

This position is based on the production floor and logistics areas, focusing on daily issue resolution, efficiency improvements, training, safety talks, and investigations of safety-related incidents. You will support continuous improvement by monitoring compliance, conducting audits, and providing timely feedback to management and employees.**What you will be doing*** Investigate accidents, conduct storage and product audits, and recommend improvements to safety programs and preventative measures.* Assist with hazard identification, risk assessments, and the implementation of controls, including engineering, procedural, and PPE solutions.* Perform periodic HSE inspections to ensure compliance with company, OSHA, MPCA, and EPA standards; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.* Ensure required safety training is conducted, maintain Safety Data Sheets, and manage safety-related inventories.* Generate and analyze safety data, support continuous improvement projects, and keep management informed of safety developments and issues.**Basic Requirements:*** Associate’s degree in Safety, Business, Engineering, or related field + 3 years of health, safety, and environmental experience.* Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business, Engineering, or related field + 1 year of health, safety, and environmental experience.* Master’s degree in Safety, Business, Engineering, or related field.* JD/PhD in Safety, Business, Engineering, or related field* In lieu of degree, 5 years of health, safety, and environmental experience.* In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent. Resident Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship.
