Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a dedicated HS Varsity Head Swim Coach/Program Director to oversee the Swimming/Diving Program at Walnut Hills High School, Cincinnati. The role involves developing and executing training programs while mentoring student-athletes both in and out of the pool.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of swim techniques, previous coaching experience, and a passion for inspiring students. This is a part-time position that reports to the School Principal.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Swimming/Diving Program.
• Serve as the Varsity Head Swim Coach.
• Develop and execute an effective training program.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of student-athletes.
• Cooperate with the School Athletic Director regarding requests.

Skills

Fundraising experience

Strong knowledge of swim rules, techniques, and strategies

Passionate and dedicated to inspiring student-athletes

Previous coaching experience preferred

Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes

Serve as a positive role model

Demonstrated knowledge and skills associated with the sport

Education

Ohio Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred

Evidence of successful past coaching experience

Proof of completion of Coaches Tool Chest (CTC) training/certification

Possess Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Activity Permit (PAP)
