Job summary

Heritage High School in Vancouver, Washington is seeking an Assistant HS Coach for Track & Field with emphasis on throwing events. The role includes attending after-school practices, games and related duties, reporting to the Head Coach and Athletic Director, and supporting the athletic program.

Requirements include First Aid/CPR, a Type II driver's license, and prior high school coaching experience is preferred. This is a part-time position with stipend-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid/CPR card required.
• Current Type II driver's license required.
• Previous high school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to the Athletic Director/Coordinator and the Head Coach.
• Must attend all after school practices, games, tournaments and meetings.
• Must be able to drive district van to transport participants.
• Assist the head coach in conducting the athletic program and meet responsibilities of the school district.
• Maintain a positive relationship with students, staff and community; model respect and professionalism.
