Job summary

Pilot Rock Junior/Senior High School is seeking an Assistant High School Softball Coach to support the district’s athletic objectives and participate in a comprehensive coaching program. The role emphasizes student development, safety, and adherence to district policies.

Responsibilities include leading practices, communicating with players and families, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSAA requirements. The position is part-time and on-site at Pilot Rock, OR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent verified.
• Experience in coaching and supervising students in sport settings.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a respectful working and learning environment.
• Pass online trainings by the District's due date.
• Organize the athletic program in alignment with district/OSAA goals.
• Oversee and develop grades 9-12 softball program and assist coaching staff.
• Maintain equipment and safety procedures for participants.
