Primary Purpose:

Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing of classroom activities.

Qualifications:

• The ability to communicate effectively in English
• high school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate
• Applicant must undergo FBI Fingerprinting and a criminal history check before employment

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, mathmatics, science, and other subjects
• Ability to work well with students, teachers, and administrators
