Job summary

Harrisburg SchoolDistrict is seeking a part-time HS internship Educational Aide to provide instructional classroom support under licensed staff supervision. The role supports student learning, supervision, and classroom management within the Academic Services department.

Reports to Building Principal and Classroom Teacher. Work schedule aligns with the school term; FLSA status is Non-Exempt. Salary is $19.35 per hour, with duties spanning during the school day.

Qualifications

• Provide instructional support to students in individual or small group settings as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist teachers with the preparation and delivery of instructional materials and classroom activities.
• Support classroom management and student engagement during instructional time.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times, including lunch, recess, transitions, and school activities.
• Assist students with organization, task completion, and study skills.
