Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an HRSG Field Engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning of Heat Recovery Steam Generators at customer sites. You will manage mobilization, civil works, erection, commissioning, and related activities with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Role requires coordination with GE Vernova engineering, subcontractors, and site leadership. Travel to construction sites in the U.S. is expected, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
• Experience in project management, construction, or commissioning in heavy industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HRSG installation and commissioning at customer sites.
• Assist erection teams, ensuring alignment with design specs and installation sequence.
• Review welding, piping, and hydrotest activities for compliance and safety.
• Prepare and review method statements, NCRs, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and GE Vernova engineering for site clarifications.
• Ensure safety protocols for heavy lifting and site operations are followed.
• Issue progress reports to Construction Manager and Site Manager.
• Support testing, instrumentation checks, and system handover procedures.
