Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an HRSG Application Engineer to own global proposal activity for outsourced HRSG scopes, translating plant requirements into detailed specifications for vendors and integrating Hot SCR with overall plant performance.

The role requires deep understanding of gas turbine combined cycle plants, HRSG design, and thermal modeling, with collaboration across commercial, project management, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited university
• At least 5 years of experience in thermal power plant engineering, HRSG systems, or related engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Own outsourced HRSG scope, defining technical specifications for vendors to bid, design, and build to GE Vernova standards.
• Interface with HRSG vendors during the bid process to evaluate proposals and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Own the Hot SCR application engineering, including system configuration and integration within the exhaust gas path.
• Collaborate with commercial teams during the ITO phase, providing technical scoping, performance estimation, schedule and cost inputs to support bids.
