Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking a Window Service Technician to install and maintain windows at construction sites across the area. The role requires physically lifting up to 80 pounds, reading installation instructions, and documenting activities.

As a full-time position with benefits, you’ll perform screen installation, window balancing, glass/sash replacement, and post-install cleaning. You’ll also handle routine reports and light warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents.
• Ability to periodically lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install window screens and balance windows.
• Replace glass and/or sashes.
• Clean windows after installation.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

The Window Service Technician acts as a window and screen installer and a maintenance technician. This full-time, hourly position is responsible for installing and performing maintenance on windows at construction sites. This includes but is not limited to:

• Screen installation.
• Balancing windows.
• Replacing glass and/or sashes.
• Cleaning windows at completion of install.
• Writing routine reports and correspondence to present to a small group.
• Warehouse duties include stocking inventory and loading/unloading semi-trailers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals), write short correspondence and memos, and effectively present information to others one-on-one
• Ability to periodically lifting up to 80 pounds
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
