The Riverside County Regional Medical Center seeks highly qualified candidates for an Administrative Services Supervisor position within the Medical Staff Department of the Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
As an Administrative Services Supervisor, you will supervise the Medical Staff administrative staff and operations, provide oversight for regulatory compliance related to the credentialing and privileging of physicians and healthcare providers, conduct complex and difficult research and analytical studies involving the operations and programs of the Medical Staff department and make recommendations for the development, implementation, and improvement of departmental operations, policies and procedures.
The Administrative Services Supervisor position reports to the Associate Medical Center Administrator and to the Chief of Medical Staff.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree preferably with a major in accounting, business or public administration, finance or a closely related field. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on the basis of 30 semester or 45 quarter units equaling one year of full-time experience.
Experience: Two years of experience which must have included at least one year experience providing technical supervision to staff performing credentialing of physicians/medical staff, and monitoring of physician hospital privileges; budget preparation and control, equipment usage, staffing patterns, and/or work flow and space utilization; maintenance and control of fiscal functions and systems in a department, division, unit, or company. Experience/participation in Joint Commission, Federal and State hospital accrediting surveys is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of: Federal, State, Joint Commission, ACGME and National Committee for Quality Assurance regulatory standards for accreditation of physician credentialing systems; Medical Executive Committee By-Laws; the principles and practices of public and/or business administration; principles and practices of organizational analysis, fiscal management, budget preparation and control and contract monitoring and personnel management; principles and practices of supervision.
Ability to: Interpret and apply department policies related to credentialing and privileging, analyze administrative problems, reach practical and logical conclusions, and put effective solutions into practice; develop cooperative working relationships; plan, organize, train, supervise and evaluate the work of others; prepare clear and concise reports.

0 < 3 year = 80 Hours (10 Days)
4 < 9 years = 120 Hours (15 Days)
10 or more years = 160 Hours (20 Days)
Maximum Vacation leave accumulation is 480 hours.
Four (4) hours Sick Leave accrual per pay period with unlimited accrual.
Normally 12 paid holidays per year.
Allowed 5 days (3 days are County paid; 2 additional days can be taken from accrued Sick Leave balance).
Equal to one times annual base salary not to exceed $50,000 of term life coverage. Premiums are paid by the County. Additional Supplemental Life plan is available for employee purchase.
Benefit pays 66.67% of earnings to a maximum of $10,000 per month; 30-day waiting period; pays to age 65. Benefit can be coordinated with other available leave balances to provide up to 100% of pay.
A monthly contribution is made by the County towards retiree health insurance offered through the County as governed by the applicable SEIU Memorandum of Understanding.
