Job description

We are seeking a proactive HRIS Analyst with Workday expertise to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our HR technology ecosystem. While this role involves foundational system support, the primary focus is on designing, implementing, and optimizing enhancements that elevate Workday’s capabilities and align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will blend technical proficiency with functional expertise, leveraging Workday configurations to streamline processes, automate workflows, and deliver scalable solutions. A collaborative mindset is essential to partner with HR, IT, and business leaders in translating needs into system advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Configuration & Optimization
    • Configure, maintain, and enhance the Workday HCM platform, including upgrades, custom configurations, and new features in partnership with HR and IT.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system innovations, staying current with Workday releases and HR tech trends.
  2. Data Integrity & Compliance
    • Conduct audits and validation checks to ensure data accuracy, enforce security protocols, and access controls.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, GDPR, SOX, and industry standards through proactive monitoring.
  3. Stakeholder Support & Training
    • Serve as the Workday SME, providing support, troubleshooting, and end-user training to promote system adoption.
    • Collaborate with HR, IT, payroll, and vendors to align system capabilities with organizational needs.
  4. Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
    • Assist in Workday projects, including module implementations, integrations, and process redesigns, managing timelines and stakeholder communication.
    • Work with the transformation team to develop high-impact solutions.
  5. Day-to-Day System Stewardship
    • Troubleshoot system issues, maintain documentation, and manage escalation protocols.
    • Oversee employee data lifecycle management, including onboarding, compensation, and talent records, with scheduled maintenance and testing.
Qualifications:
  • 4-6+ years of experience configuring Workday HRIS, including operations, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance, and Security.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance regulations like GDPR and SOX.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Absence Management, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Workday reporting and creating simple reports.
Additional Information:

The annual base salary range is $116,100 to $166,865 USD plus bonus. Compensation depends on location, experience, skills, and level.
