Responsibilities

• Partner with the agency driver to pick up food from local grocery stores and restaurants following a designated pick-up route
• Assist the driver with taking the temperature of and loading donated food into the agency van for transport back to the Hunger Resource Center (HRC)
• Help unload food from the van into the Hunger Resource Center and document the weight of food
• Store perishable food in walk-in coolers and freezers as needed
• Serve as an NVFS representative to the donating public with a warm demeanor, providing information as needed to both donor and NVFS staff
