Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manager - HRBP for the Dearborn Truck Plant to lead a transformative HR organization in a unionized, high‑volume manufacturing environment. You will align HR with business objectives, partnering with plant leadership and central HR to deliver solutions that improve the employee experience and drive production results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/OD required or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or unionized environment desired.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership and central HR teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR leadership for the Dearborn Truck Plant, covering employee relations, union relations, benefits, compensation, training, and communications.
• Build relationships with operations leadership to guide HR goals that support production objectives.
• Establish strong worker relations and proactive issue resolution at the Gemba and through PDCA.
• Lead standardized recruitment and onboarding with thorough background checks and culture-fit assessments.
• Coach leaders on effective communication, visibility, and consistent leadership practices.
• Apply lean HR practices to advance operations and equitable wage and benefit structures.
• Develop engagement, recognition, and development programs across the workforce.
