Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in HR roles, understands NY employment laws, and can coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and performance management with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HR experience in coordinator/associate/generalist roles.
• Exposure to employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, or HR operations.
• Basic knowledge of NY employment laws and HR practices.
• Interest in developing HR business partnership and organizational effectiveness.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential documentation and manage multiple follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the HRBP for assigned departments and managers.
• Maintain regular communication with managers and departments.
• Answer routine HR questions and escalate to HRBP as needed.
• Gather information and documentation for employee relations matters.
• Maintain organized, confidential HR records and action trackers.
• Assist with performance management documentation and deadlines.
• Identify recurring employee concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Support HR projects, trainings, and workforce initiatives.
