GFiber seeks an HR Application Engineer to own and evolve our Hire-to-Retire technology landscape. This role serves as the primary technology partner to Human Resources, Payroll, Talent Management, and Business Operations, ensuring scalable, employee-centric solutions across the entire lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines HR process expertise with strong application engineering to support process transformation and roadmap initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience.
• 10 years supporting Workday HR platforms.
• Experience with Hire-to-Retire processes and HR operations.
• Experience configuring Workday HCM and HR integrations.
• Experience HR integrations, data management and system administration.

Responsibilities

• Platform & Lifecycle Ownership: End-to-end owner of the Hire-to-Retire ecosystem.
• Strategy & Roadmap: Align HR tech roadmap with priorities and security.
• Process Optimization: Standardize and automate HR processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Data & Integrations: Manage integrations and secure HR data flows.
• System Lifecycle & Support: Lead testing, deployments and vendor SLAs.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Bridge between HR, IT, Payroll, Security and vendors.
