Job summary

Spire Global is seeking an HR Systems Analyst to support the HR Operations team across the employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition through off-boarding. The role blends project planning, program management, system administration, and data analysis to deliver positive experiences for users.

You will own and maintain the HRIS (Rippling), develop dashboards in PowerBI, and automate reporting while collaborating with stakeholders to drive system improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience with MS365 Suite and HRIS platforms such as Rippling or BambooHR.
  • Proficient in creating dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Excel, and Power Automate.
  • Comfort with basic coding (Python/HTML) and writing SOPs.
  • Strong communication, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HR metrics dashboards and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Own and maintain the HRIS system (Rippling) and manage data integrity.
  • Lead project plans, manage timelines, and ensure cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to drive system improvements and data workflows.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders and facilitate workshops.

Job Overview

The HR Systems Analyst plays a crucial role at Spire Global, supporting the HR Operations team and touching every part of the employee experience. This role combines project planning, program management, system administration, and data analysis across global teams to create positive experiences from talent acquisition through off‑boarding.

Key Responsibilities
Data Visualization, Analysis and Reporting
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics dashboards.
  • Identify and analyze trends and patterns within HR data to support decisions.
  • Streamline and automate data collection and reporting processes.
  • Provide ongoing reporting for various metrics and team needs.
  • Create and deliver ad‑hoc reports and analyses as requested by the HR team and stakeholders.
Systems Management
  • Own and maintain the HRIS system completely (Rippling).
  • Understand platform structures and manage HR platforms.
  • Maintain data integrity through auditing and resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement system improvements such as workflow creation and data updates.
  • Handle routine processes including new‑hire additions, system permissions, user access, and backend configurations.
Project & Program Management
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and achieve milestones across multiple projects.
  • Facilitate project update meetings and document decisions and discussions.
  • Oversee program(s) from origin to completion, collaborating with the HR team and business lines to define requirements, reporting standards, and communication strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Communications, Branding, Learning & Development, HR Partners, IT, and others to drive HR operational excellence.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with HR partners and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate enjoys working with systems, conducting research, and finding creative ways to present data and improve processes. Experience with light coding in Python or HTML is a plus. Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to switch quickly between projects, and effective communication skills are essential.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience with the MS365 Suite.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with SharePoint, Excel, PowerBI, Power Automate, Teams, and Forms.
  • General familiarity with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Planner, OneNote, and Viva Engage.
  • Some coding experience with Python, HTML, or similar.
  • Proficiency in writing SOPs.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven research skills and the ability to operate independently.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and results to various stakeholders and facilitating workshops.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good organizational and time‑management skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with ATS (Greenhouse), HRIS (Rippling and BambooHR), or similar systems.
Employment Details

Spire operates a hybrid work model. This position requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Salary Range

$90,000 — $130,500 USD. Final base salary will be based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, the role may be eligible for annual equity awards and our employee benefits program, including vacation, sick, and personal time off; optional medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a 401(k) plan; health and wellness reimbursement; and participation in Spire’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
