Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager for its Baltimore Division. The role partners with the General Manager to shape the people strategy, oversee workforce planning, leadership coaching, and employee relations across the site.

You will recruit and onboard key roles, lead organizational development initiatives, and ensure HR operations and compliance align with business goals and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulatory changes.
• Experience with HRIS and talent management systems is preferred.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager and leadership to develop people strategies that support talent needs and workforce planning.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and terminations.
• Promote a people-first culture, accountability, and a respectful workplace.
• Lead employee relations, including investigations, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.
• Manage talent acquisition: strategy, interviewing, selection, onboarding for key roles.
• Collaborate on workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Oversee HR operations, policies, and compliance with laws and practices.
• Administer pay, benefits, leave, accommodations, policy interpretation, and issue resolution.
• Analyze compensation trends and partner with Corporate HR on competitive programs.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; drive engagement initiatives.
• Plan employee communications, recognition, and feedback to strengthen culture.
