Job summary

LX Pantos Americas in Lakeland, FL is seeking an HR Specialist to support day-to-day human resources operations, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations.

You will ensure compliance with federal/state laws, maintain HR records, coordinate Workers’ Compensation, and partner with managers on policy guidance. Strong communication and Excel/Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll systems beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, payroll processing and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now with attention to accuracy.
• Manage recruitment including job postings, interviews and candidate communication.
• Conduct onboarding and new employee orientation.
• Provide employee relations support and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with workplace investigations and HR documentation.
• Administer benefits enrollment and answer benefits questions.
• Review timecards and attendance records.
• Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with laws.
• Coordinate Workers’ Compensation claims for Florida employees.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain audit-ready employee records.
• Handle unemployment claims and protect confidentiality.
• Partner with managers on HR policy guidance and performance matters.
• Support HR operations for LX Pantos Americas’ Florida sites.
• Perform additional HR duties as assigned.
