Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an HR Specialist to support Soldier personnel, maintain records, and assist with awards, evaluations, and ID cards. You will handle data entry, filings, and office coordination while supporting readiness and welfare of all Soldiers.

As part of the National Guard, you will receive paid training, a monthly paycheck, and access to tuition assistance and benefits. Training includes Basic and Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing and maintaining personnel records.
• Ability to perform data entry and retrieve personnel records.
• Good people skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist on all human resource support matters.
• Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions.
• Responsible for the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers.
• Postal and personnel accountability support.
• Maintain emergency notification data.
