Job summary

American Woodmark Corporation, now part of MasterBrand, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support HR, safety/compliance, and training functions at our Kentucky facility.

You will work with hourly employees, assist in recruiting, and help maintain records, benefits, and policy guidance while ensuring SQDC goals and a safe workplace. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years HR experience, a Bachelor's in HR or related field, and bilingual Spanish is a plus. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years HR management experience; manufacturing preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent PC skills; MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Track record of successful project management; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary HR contact for hourly employees.
• Assist HR Manager in recruitment coordination; salary and hourly.
• Provide counseling on policy, benefits, salary administration, training, and performance issues.
• Monitor and coordinate local/state regulatory compliance activities.
• Maintain employee files and attendance policy compliance.
• Represent the company in unemployment hearings as needed.
• Assist in transfers and job postings; coordinate department activities to meet SQDC targets.
• Support HR staff development and participate in hiring needs discussions.
