DC Army National Guard is seeking an HR Specialist to handle personnel support and HR functions for Soldiers across divisions. You will organize and maintain records, perform data entry, process recommendations, and coordinate evaluations.

Responsibilities include managing strength actions, ensuring readiness and welfare, and supporting postal and personnel accountability. This role offers hands-on civilian and military HR experience, with tuition assistance and benefits through National Guard

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)

• Assist on all human resource support matters
• Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
• Responsible for the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers
• Postal and personnel accountability support
• Maintain emergency notification data
