Job summary

The position requires in-person presence at the campus and involves data entry, benefits processing, and HRIS work. Typically 1–2 years in HR is preferred, with strong MS Office skills and experience with HRIS or payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 1–2 years’ experience in Human Resources is preferred.
• Specialized knowledge in Benefits, HRIS or Compensation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify and enter data to the HRIS.
• Prepare and review position, compensation, and employment information submitted by departments.
• Process changes to health benefits, retirement contributions, and tuition.
• Provide direct customer service to employees and leadership requests.
• Respond to HR Shared Service Center emails, calls and walk-ins with accurate information.
• Distribute action items and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Provide benefit administration support and orientation for new employees.
• Monitor reporting and processing to ensure compliance and eligibility.
• Audit data for federal, legal, and university policies.
