Job summary

Rush University Medical Center's Employee Service Center is seeking a Customer Service HR Specialist who serves as the first point of contact for employees, retirees and managers. You will apply HR policies, process transactions and resolve issues across benefits, payroll and compensation with a customer-focused approach.

You will work with multiple departments, utilize knowledgebase and case management tools, and support day-to-day ESC services while upholding Rush's mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required).
• 2+ years of call center experience.
• 3+ years in front-line HR or employee benefits administration.
• HRIS experience; Infor/Lawson is a plus.
• Knowledgebase and case management systems experience; ServiceNow HR Service Delivery a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for HR questions within ESC.
• Answer HR policy and process inquiries for ESC services.
• Use knowledgebase and case management tools to resolve issues.
• Provide support for in-scope ESC services; escalate as needed.
• Educate employees and managers about self-service channels.
• Process routine employee data transactions.
• Meet service center metrics and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain documentation of issue resolutions and processes.
