Job summary

BBI Logistics is seeking a hardworking HR/Recruiting Intern to gain practical experience in the HR and Talent Acquisition field this summer at our Tampa office. You will learn the full cycle recruiting process, shadow our HR team, and contribute to onboarding and employee engagement activities.

You’ll start with sourcing and screening, then progress to interviews and collaborations with leadership, while supporting intern programs and volunteer activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree; junior or senior preferred.
• Office-based internship; no remote work.
• Hard working and positive spirit.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn full cycle recruiting from sourcing to offer.
• Shadow and assist recruiting team throughout the summer.
• Shadow HR team activities and onboarding processes.
• Conduct phone screenings and grow to in-person interviews.
• Participate in weekly interview reviews with leadership.

BBI is looking for a hardworking, confident, and task-oriented student looking to gain HR/Recruiting experience. As an HR/Recruiting Intern at BBI, you will acquire practical experience in the HR and Talent Acquisition field while collaborating with our expert HR/Recruiting team. Our summer internship program is designed to enhance your knowledge of HR/Recruiting processes and refine your professional skill set. What You’ll Be Doing.

• Learn the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to assessing to offering a candidate
• Shadow and work alongside our recruiting team throughout the summer
• Shadow and work alongside our HR team throughout the summer
• Engage in phone screenings and in person interviews, progressing to conducting your own screenings as responsibilities grow
• Participate in weekly interview collaborations with leadership, offering insights on each candidates' ability for the role
• Lead and complete HR operational tasks such as onboarding, employee engagement, HRIS management, compensation and benefits
• Lead the mock interview initiative for all BBI interns, offering them a platform to practice interviews and receive constructive feedback
• Showcase your portfolio project, highlighting your accomplishments from your summer role, and present it effectively to leadership
• Support the onboarding process for new hires as they embark on their career journey with BBI
• Collaborate with your fellow interns by participating in volunteer activities and company outings

Requirements

• Junior and Senior undergraduates pursuing a bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work in office as this internship does not offer remote opportunities
• Hard working and positive spirit
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
