Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a Recruiter to interview, test, and refer applicants for labor, clerical, technical, and administrative roles. The role requires strong interviewing skills, knowledge of warehouse operations, and familiarity with employment laws.

You will partner with hiring managers, draft ads, manage offers, and coordinate background checks and drug testing, while producing weekly recruitment activity reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in recruiting.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recruiting experience (logistics a plus).
  • HR experience a plus.
  • Experience with ATS systems and solid knowledge of technology (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience in social media recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies to ensure a continuing supply of qualified applicants.
  • Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods based on the available role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine best recruiting practices for positions.
  • Draft recruitment advertisements and place ads in effective digital and/or print media.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process.
  • Maintain positive relationships with hiring managers by providing timely feedback and ensuring protocol adherence.
  • Screens and interviews applicants.
  • Coordinates appropriate employment testing.
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Coordinates background checks and new‑hire drug testing.
  • Completes weekly reports on employment activity.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The recruiter position is responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for general labor, clerical, technical, and administrative positions throughout the company. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a strong knowledge of warehouse and all clerical and specialized functions, and a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure, personnel policy and procedure, and federal and state employment laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies to ensure a continuing supply of qualified applicants.
  • Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods based on the available role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine best recruiting practices for positions.

Qualifications

  • Able to research, evaluate, and analyze new recruitment techniques, methods, and procedures.
Education and/or Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience in recruiting.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a recruiting position (logistics a plus).
  • Human Resource experience a plus.
  • Experience with ATS systems and solid knowledge of technology (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience in social media recruitment.
Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals; write letters and business correspondence; and effectively present information and respond to questions from all groups of employees, customers, and clients.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Computer Skills

Basic computer knowledge required to perform this job successfully.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger or handle tasks, and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Professional office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
