Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries in Kansas City, MO is seeking an energetic HR Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The role supports our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work, and upholds our values of diversity, integrity, professionalism and respect.

You will collaborate with management to attract, hire and retain talent, publish opportunities, interview candidates, and monitor KPIs such as time-to-hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse population.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage and organize information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to assess hiring needs and develop hiring plans.
• Create and publish employment opportunities, interview candidates, and build community relationships.
• Assist the VP of Recruiting and Compliance and Recruiting Supervisor in establishing and tracking KPIs, including time-to-hire and fulfillment rates.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and progress toward hiring goals to ensure timely staffing.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and referrals.
• Support employer branding and maintain a positive online presence on Glassdoor and LinkedIn.
• Organize and participate in hiring events and job fairs as needed.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies throughout the recruitment process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
