The mandatory in office day is Monday, and core business hours are between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.## Who We Are & What You’ll DoThe Office of Human Resources has an opening for an HR Records Technician II to join our Records Team. Our Records Team ensures accurate and compliant processing of personnel transactions across the City and County of Denver. As an HR Records Technician II, you will contribute your technical expertise, attention to detail, and customer‐focused mindset to support HR partners, agency clients, and employees. **Key Skill Areas Used in This Role*** **Compliance & Quality Assurance:** Apply knowledge of rules, policies, and employment law to verify, audit, and correct personnel transactions while upholding accuracy and legal compliance.* **Analytical & Process Skills:** Interpret transaction requests, identify required outcomes, and translate them into accurate codified entries. Spot discrepancies, recommend corrections, and help refine internal processes.* **Regulatory Awareness:** Maintain up‐to‐date understanding of career service rules, federal and state employment regulations, and internal policies, using this knowledge to ensure consistent and lawful processing.* **Customer & Partner Support:** Build strong working relationships with internal HR teams and agency clients. Provide clear guidance, address non‐routine questions, and resolve issues with professionalism and diplomacy.* **Training & Knowledge Sharing:** Deliver guidance to HR staff and employees through job aids, presentations, and training sessions. Support adoption of HRIS self‐service functions by explaining processes in user‐friendly ways.* **Data & Document Management:** Manage personnel records in accordance with policy and law, including file creation, maintenance, auditing, and distribution.
