Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HR Project Manager to lead workforce ramp-up and multi-site initiatives across five North American manufacturing sites. You will craft staffing plans, talent acquisition strategies, onboarding, and change management to support growth from $1.3B to $5.9B in annual production by 2030.

The role partners with Operations, Finance, and Site HR Leaders to ensure readiness aligns with aggressive expansion timelines, driving organizational readiness and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR, workforce planning or related experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or operations.
• Proven record leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, project management and executive communication skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS and workforce planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR workstreams for major manufacturing expansion projects.
• Create and manage integrated project plans, milestones, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across HR, Operations, Talent Acquisition, L&D, and Site Leadership.
• Provide regular executive updates on hiring progress and readiness.
• Ensure HR deliverables align with plant startup and production schedules.
• Develop workforce ramp-up strategies and headcount forecasts.
