Job summary

  • Improve HR workforce initiatives through automation and streamlined processes.
  • Complete administrative tasks for the Director, Human Resources and coordinate monthly HR team meetings.
  • Adhere to timelines and independently navigate obstacles.
  • Support projects and meetings through planning and execution.
  • Maintain confidentiality and communicate ideas clearly in groups and one-to-one.

Description

The HR Program Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.


Responsibilities


  • Manage all aspects of the Northwestern Medicine Campus and Community Recruitment Programs.

  • Coordinate pipeline initiatives in partnership with the NM Academy and Community Affairs.

  • Leads coordination and completion of external workforce award applications including writing essays, compiling key data and metrics from across the organization (i.e. Working Mother 100 Best, HEI LGBT survey, Beckers Top Companies to Work For and other regional awards).

  • Professionally represents Northwestern Memorial HealthCare by attending appropriate external and internal events and meetings related to pipeline activities.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with all community partners, customers, vendors.

  • Works collaboratively with other members of the HR division and serves as a project team member for various HR projects.

  • Seeks to continually improve and enhance HR workforce initiativesthrough automation and streamlining.

  • Additional Functions:

    • Completes administrative tasks/projects supporting the Director, Human Resources including meeting scheduling, management of P.O./invoices. Independently plans and executes activities in support of projects and meetings such as room scheduling, signage, catering, equipment, appropriate notifications.

    • Coordinates monthly HR team meetings.

    • Adheres to project timelines and able to independently navigate obstacles.

    • Performs miscellaneous tasks and projects as directed.

    • Adapts behaviors and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, customer needs, and unexpected outcomes.

    • Embodies leadership, team building and group facilitation skills.

    • Builds trust with customers and team members.

    • Assists others in focusing on detailed tasks, actions and solutions.

    • Expresses ideas and facts in a succinct organized manner in groups and one-to-one conversations.

    • Maintains confidentiality.
