Job summary

Dagen Personnel LLC is seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Payroll/HR Admin Specialist in NW Houston/Texas area. You will own new-hire onboarding, manage payroll entries, and support HR projects across accounting and benefits administration.

The role emphasizes accuracy with time data, familiarity with basic accounting concepts, and collaboration with hiring managers to ensure smooth employee setup and ongoing payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Business, completed or expected within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new hires including offer paperwork, background checks, I-9 verification, and benefits enrollment.
• Coordinate start dates with managers to ensure day-one readiness.
• Manage payroll administration with our PEO, including new hires, terminations, and time data.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts at month-end.
