Job summary

Huxley in California is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, driving talent initiatives, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. You will partner with executives on workforce planning, coach managers on engagement and leadership, and help shape retention and development programs in a hybrid work environment.

This role requires 8+ years in HR with strong ER, talent management, and performance

Basic Function

The Senior People Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, partnering closely with the business to drive talent initiatives, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development
• Coach managers on performance management, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness
• Support employee relations matters and provide guidance on policy interpretation
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and retention initiatives
• Support change management and organizational growth efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement people programs and processes
• Analyze workforce data and provide recommendations to support business decisions

Qualifications

Required

• 8+ years of HR experience, including HR Business Partner experience
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent management, and performance practices
• Proven ability to influence leaders and navigate complex people mattersStrong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
• SHRM or HRCI certification
• Experience supporting a high-growth or fast-paced organization
